ECO1630R - Mitsubishi's Silver Digiplater, a fully automated, digital plate-making system for all applications from B&W to four-color printing, is the ideal imagesetter for small-format printing houses. This very compact two-page platesetter for polyester and paper offset plates has a capstan recorder with integrated processor and a resolution of up to 2,400 dpi.
The Silver Digiplate System eliminates the conventional plate-making steps. The printing plates in the form of roll material in a cassette are exposed using a red laser diode. After cutting, developing and drying, a CtP plate is output in next to no time.
The advantages are obvious: the Eco principle saves money and little maintenance is required, as the chemicals are applied to the surface of the plate in a thin film.
Developing results are absolutely constant.
