Built with advanced Tornado Technology and engineered for efficiency, it enables print service providers to handle high-volume, multi-component jobs such as catalogs, reports, calendars, manuals, and planners with unprecedented ease and speed.

With intelligent media handling powered by BDT’s patented system, the Tornado EX reliably lifts, separates, and transports a wide range of printed and specialty media—including covers, tabs, and inserts—without interruption. Its integrated interposer bins allow for fully automated collation of book components, eliminating manual sorting and minimizing errors.

The 7” touchscreen interface offers real-time monitoring, quick start functionality, preset job configurations, and automated chip bin tracking. Built to handle up to 10,800 sheets per hour with support for 9 binding styles, the Tornado EX offers unmatched flexibility, efficiency, and return on investment.
